I am not sure why this hotel has received some recent negative reviews.
Whilst we would agree that this hotel isnt one of those sterile soulless modern hotels .what the hotel is, it is a lovely city hotel that is charming and authentically Italian.

Hotel view is completely not as pictured, so was off to a bad start when we arrived in an ally full of graffiti. The hotels location was good in terms of being very close to local restaurants and bars, however if you are booking this hotel based on their first picture dont! Staff were poor and sprung on us we have to pay tourist tax 60 as we were leaving instead of telling us at the beginning of our stay. Only p...

I recently stayed at Ponte Sisto and while the overall experience was decent, there was one major issue that left a bad impression. The hotel advertised opening hours for the roof top bar were until midnight, but they closed at 11:30 pm without informing guests that last orders were earlier. We were in the middle of playing cards and decided to move to the lobby, where we continued quietly.

Good location. Rooms were clean but dated. Bed was comfortable. The staff (other than one person at the bar) were rude. Other than breakfast, we never ate at the hotel because the staff ignored us for so long that we went elsewhere. The breakfast was included but mediocre at best. Lovely hotel in the city center

This is a lovely hotel in the city center right across from the Ponte Sisto bridge easy walking distance to the main attractions in Rome Trevi fountain Spanish steps Piazza Navona (unfortunately under construction now due to the jubilee) and the Pantheon also has a lovely rooftop deck and courtyard for buffet breakfast don't be fooled by other reviews this hotel really is a gem...
