Weird, uncomfortable and very expensive.
Travelled on 09/2024
This is a very odd place to stay. It reminds me of the catholic boarding school where I spent 5 years. Cold, intimidating and festooned with religious memorabilia, e.g. pictures of current and former pipes, religious statues. The room is small, badly maintained, noisy and not especially clean. All the main sights are in walking distance of the hotel. If you go, ask about the free tickets to attend the general audience with the Pope at St Peters Square! We were given tickets upon arrival and got to see the Pope! From the moment we a...

Oasis of calm
Travelled on 04/2024
I stayed here with my Mum for a short break to Rome. It felt like coming back to an oasis of calm after busy days of sight seeing. Perfect location for the Vatican. The staff were very friendly and helpful and offered us recommendations, and even taught us a few phrases in Italian!...
