My wife and I needed a hotel for a few nights before the start of a cruise. We read reviews of this hotel and that it was located close to major sights and the termini. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and spoke English to help make us feel more at home. Excellent hotel in a good location
The welcome is excellent, the sleep quality is excellent, the breakfast is good and the service is simply excellent (thanks Francesca).
The hotel is a minute's walk from the Republic subway station and within walking distance of all the main attractions.
Those who book through the hotel's website have benefits such as use of the mini bar.

Staying at this hotel comes with numerous drawbacks. The Classic room was very small for 3 people and dingy. While a room can be old, it doesn't have to be shoddy. Cleanliness is essential, and the bathroom's condition is disappointing. The tile grouts around the bathtub area are yellow, brown, or dull green in color. I was disappointed. We spent 3 days here and my family had 2 rooms on opposite ends of the 4th floor. One room was cool, the other was noticeably hot. I complained and they sent someone up to the room. It didnt make much of a difference. The temperature was well over 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
