You have to hope you don't have any mishaps. Cancellation is only permitted a few days in advance and not the day before as it is normally the case in hotels of certain categories and, if you can no longer stay there, there is not even the possibility of changing the date. The conditions may be like that, but hotels that want to be of a certain category should behave differently....

We recently got back from an anniversary trip to Rome, staying at Leons Place and we cannot fault the hotel. The reception team were accommodating, friendly and helpful and made our stay even more special. The room was fantastic, spacious and immaculate. Location wise, it was far enough out of the main hustle and bustle of the centre but still only a 20/25 minute walk to the Trevi fountain and around half an hours w...

This is a really great hotel in a good location, walking distance to everywhere.
The rooms were very clean and spacious and cleaned daily - the beds were so large and comfortable and very welcome after a long day of sightseeing.
We loved the breakfasts - all freshly prepared and lots of choice.
Lastly the staff were brilliant, so warm and friendly and even offered great tips such as taking a complementary wifi boost...

Located in a quieter section of Rome, yet close to many restaurants and coffee shops, Leons Place is a great escape from the mad, overcrowded tourism of this city. The staff is charming and helpful. The hotel is not in the center of Rome, but near Porta Pia. We had a great experience and enjoyed the neighborhood and the restaurants. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. I used a mobility scooter while visiting Rome and they were wonderful in helping me. I did not take the scooter to our accessible room as the elevators were very small, I am able to walk short distances so we stored and charged the scoot...
