We stayed at the hotel on our last visit in November 2024, following a 10 day cruise in the Mediterranean. This was the perfect spot that in central access to the city without the congestion.

This hotel is definitely not worthy of a four star review. Whilst the communal areas were nice, having quirky giant dogs, flamingos and gorillas and a couple of lips sofas, does not make up for the fact that the room we stayed in was outdated, old fashioned and disappointing. I genuinely thought the hotel would be better. The room was outdated, so was the bathroom. The common area and the reception was not clean. The staff members were not very welcoming. Considering the price I would find another hotel to stay at....

our first room was DIRTY with TONS of staining and dirty spots on carpet, walls, tabletop
They moved us to another room after I reported it to Expedia but our new room WREAKED of raw sewage, rotting meat and rotten eggs.
The toilet and bidet were leaking and the stench was so severe we were gagging and wrenching.
We mentioned this to the front desk and they were rude and not caring at all

Typical basic hotel

I have just come back from visiting here. The Hotel isn't as modern as what the pictures make it which was a bit disappointing on arrival. The rooms are clean, basic and toiletries are replenished daily. The location is a bit of a distance from the historical part of Rome however Trastevere has some lovely restaurants and bars nearby. The bar within the hotel shuts early too as i went down at 22:00 and it was closed....
