DANGEROUS - disregard for safety/well being of guests and RUDE

The negligence, lack of professionalism, and disregard for human safety exhibited by this hotels staff are unacceptable. My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights, 4 days, and on the last night, my husband was struck on the head by a fallen picture frame was hanging above our bed. Lovely comfortable hotel in a great location. Close to the station and two metro stations withing a couple of minutes walk. Could also walk to many sights. Single room was comfortable and clean. Only issue was noise in the corridors which kept me awake and woke me up in the morning. I was close to the lift and stairs so everyone had to pass my door. Fine for a short stay

We spent one night at this hotel, mainly because of its proximity to the train station as we were using it as a transit stop. Check in was friendly and professional. The hotel was perhaps one small step above above budget hotel but is was clean, safe and comfortable. We used the rooftop bar which was a nice touch and drink prices were reasonable....

We really liked this hotel. We had a superior double up on the 5th floor. It was very busy when we checked in but reception were friendly enough. Breakfast buffet was small but still had scrambled egg, bacon and hot dog sausages for us English! It is in a noisy area but it is central Rome. My only problem was with the shower over bath, the bath tapered at the bottom that made standing difficult...

The location of Hotel Nord Nuova Roma is perfect as it is right around the corner from the train station and within easy walking distance to all key sites (i.e.: Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain). We had arrived from Sorrento/Naples via train dropped our luggage in our room (room was available early!) and then headed out for a nice walk around the historic area.
