I really wanted to love this hotel, because of the old town charm and historic location. The room we stayed in had an ok view. Although we had a view of the trevi fountain, we certainly couldn't not even hope to get wink of sleep with the fan in the room, making the loudest noise possible. This hotel is an old convent, full of character and right opposite the Trevi Fountain. For convenience and accessibility to the Centro Storico, Spanish Steps, shops, restaurants, taxis etc it is perfect. Yes the square gets very busy but it isn't a 'problem'. My single occupancy room was small with a single but bed (room 210) I didn't need any more than that and the bed was super comfy. The room is a little tired but...

Not sure why this place has so many poor reviews, we were in room 306 and it was great. Room was a great size, bathroom was small but that is everywhere in Italy. Air conditioning was fabulous and we actually slept with the window open looking out over the Trevi fountain all night. No noise issues with the window open except when someone proposed and the entire crowd started clapping and hollering. With the windo...

It was above perfectionAbsolutely, perfect location. You walk out the door & theres the Trevi Fountain! Staff is wonderful. Its a small historic building. Has a lift. Provides breakfast. Rooms are small, but, exceptionally clean. Room 106 is directly across from the fountain. We had 2 fountain view rooms. 106 & 108. Whilst the rooms are dated this adds to its charm. The rooms are clean and the bed very comfortable. The most incredible views of the fountain and the staff are just so lovely and cant do enough for you. One to visit for sure- especially for the roof top bar (but bring earplugs if you have a room by the fountain)...
