Nice hotel but a very noisy room

Hotel in a great location but my single room was within a very noisy part of hotel, it was either near the cleaners cupboard or lifts, as the noise was unbearable, more noise was coming from outside and sleeping was very challenging even with earplugs.
The breakfast was however lovely, breakfast area really charming and so was the rooftop bar.
Reception was friendly and helpful....

The staff (especially the bell hop) were amazing and very accommodating. We did need two rooms and while they were a great size and nice, one of them smelled like cigarette smoke. Not much the hotel can do if a guest smokes in the room though and I did bring it to their attention so hopefully they clean it better to help with the smell. The rooftop bar was nice but the drinks were very pricey ($60 for 3 dri...

Best location Grand HOTEL in ROMA. Perfect location, and the workers care about you as if you are a loved one. Especially starting with the owner, Roberto Troiani, architect, and all at the front desk and Maria Troiani behind it all in the office. Great location. However rooms are tired and quite dirty. Front desk staff are rude and very unhelpful, they give off an air of arrogance who are not interested in overseas travellers. We booked and paid for Deluxe rooms but were put in shabby classic rooms. Upon raising it with the front desk we were met with a shrug of the shoulders and the gentlemen turned his back on us, we were not offered any refund on the dear...

Hotel Forum #1 on my go to when in Rome

As a retired Flight Attendant who frequent travels take me to Rome -my go to is the Hotel Forum . The friendly and helpful staff - rooftop dining for the view - location location location. This Hotel always puts a smile on my face . Very quaint surrounded by such rich history ....
