The hotel is well-equipped. We had a 3-bed room of good size with a very nice bathroom. The fitness-center is up to date, and the sauna was working (late october, daytime temperature outside about 22 °C). We came in a couple of days before our cruise and needed a convenient place near the Termini train station. I've read in the past when you are in this area you need to be careful. We had absolutely no problems. The area was very safe even at night This hotel is a gem for location with a lot of places to dine and stores to shop. The location is fantastic! This hotel by far is the BEST hotel in the area. It's affordable, not far from the train station and surrounded by restaurants and museums. The rooms are spacy and the beds ( I happened to book 3 different rooms) and all were truly comfortable. MARCO the front desk concierge is a true asset to the Best Western Hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Rome. The location was perfect and close to the metro station. Great atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating. The room we stayed in was very spacious and comfortable. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast too....

Best Western Plus Universo was a wonderful surprise in Rome. Will check for BW whenever we travel abroad from now on ! Saw the Vatican, Closseum and Trevi Fountain. Just a short taxi ride or Hop on Hop Off away. Got to enjoy the yummy food at nearby restaurants and Caffes. Highly recommend !...
