The hotel is well located.
Our room was OK for a short city stay.
The view at breakfast room over the city is breathtaking.. The same with the terrace. But you pay for a view ... quite high prices for a room and for drinks ...
Close to Vatican, short walk to city center or bus stations. Good restaurants nearby.
We would recommend the hotel, with some constraints.....

Only stayed 1 night in a family room/suite as our flight had been changed and needed to move from the apartment we had stayed at. Fantastic service throughout. We arrived at 10am to leave our cases as check in was at 3pm. Reception staff were extremely helpful and allowed us to check in straight away. For a 4* hotel it is pretty bad. The facilities look deteriorated, although I must say that the room is quite comfortable, they also provide you with everything you need, from shampoo to cleaning sponges for shoes, the breakfast buffet does not vary every day, but has delicious food, the staff as waiters and cleaning, very friendly, the reception staff not so friendly. Very nice city centre hotel near most attractions. Room good size with spacious bed and a nice bathroom. Did not eat there but drinks are pricey. Aircon a boon on a hot Rome afternoon. Will consider again if in Rome as it is near the. Ativan wall and all manners of restaurants and bars....

If you like silk walls and ornate fixtures and fittings then you'll love this hotel. A good sized room with a comfortable bed and enormous bed are some of the features.
Move to the rooftop restaurant and bar and enjoy panoramic views of this amazing city. The inside restaurant views are almost as awe inspiring. As for the buffet-style food - yum, yum, yum!
