Perfect spot for Roman break

We spent 3 nights at the Academia for a family visit to Rome. The location was just brilliant, walkable to everywhere we wanted to go to so we saw so much of the city. We had a triple room which was very spacious considering we were in the middle of the city, only a stone's throw from the Trevi Fountain - which is empty and undergoing cleaning and repair at the moment. Loved this hotel - very comfortable with lots of public areas to socialise in and nice touches like free drinks in the library. It's in a perfect location to walk around the old city and close to dozens of places to eat as well as the very upmarket shopping area. Recommend a room away from the front if you're a light sleeper though the traffic dies down at night and our room seemed well insulated. Comfy bed and all n...

Fantastic location in a very walkable area and the hotel has breakfast included in the room rate we booked. A nice surprise was on the morning of our departure, we had a 6am flight with a 3:15am pick up. In the lobby, the hotel had breakfast to go bags prepared for all guests departing extremely early. Great service!...

Close to Fountain di Trevi

Comfortable,quiet slightly old fashioned hotel lt is less than one minute from Fontana di Trevi. In fact the Fountain is only less than 50 steps from the front of the hotel.
The staff are helpful and speak and understand English well.
They assisted me with directions to the Pantheon and Colosseum....

Great hotel near Trevi Fountain!

The staff is pleasant and helpful. The beds are comfortable and clean: room service is good. The breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful. The greatest asset - it is an easy 3 minute walk from the Trevi fountain, a few souvenir shops; a variety of restaurants and gelato shops. In a 2 night stay, we enjoyed the Trevi at least 4 times - so were able to have a relaxed view, perfect pictures, and varied perspectives....
