The facilities were excellent, with comfortable and very well equipped rooms.
Excellent breakfast and generally services were very professional and friendly.
The hotel is in an ideal position to explore the city, with a very good metro service nearby....

Perfect for people who want to watch their travel companion shower and listen as they use the toilet.

These rooms are clean and located in a decent part of town, but completely lack privacy. The design is supposed to be hip and modern, but is terrible for functionality. The shower and toilet are in two separate, standalone stalls. When someone is showering, you can see their body perfectly through the frosted window. Minimalist clean hotel..

A minimalist hotel tht is located just outside the main old city centre. It is like an upmarket version of an Ibis hotel, with larger rooms and very comfortable beds. It is a little far to pop in and out of the hotel if walking in the city. The metro is close by (5 mins walk) but the elevator at the metro smells of urine. I suggest to use the metro by walking down ( your back to the hotel, head right), not to take th...

Beware of additional charges, poorly soundproofed rooms

Yotel Porto
We were 3 couples, staying for 3 days with the option of breakfast included.
I was very upset on the day of arrival at the reception when I was the only one charged an additional 43 for the breakfast of the second person in my room.
The 3 rooms occupied by 2 people each made the same reservation with the same price for accommodation and breakfast, only my room was asked for the additional payment.

I so wanted to like Yotel Porto but it failed miserably on multiple counts. I'll ignore the contacts about 'upgrading' my room prior to arrival. I'll also ignore being charged 34 Euros for two breakfasts when others paid 14.99 each. I'll even ignore the fact you have to go to the entrance to your room to control the lights to your toilet, shower, ambient lighting etc, or the fact that unless you want a towel or bottl...
