We enjoyed our stay at this hotel immensely.
9 nights is a long stay if they don't get it right! After a very delayed flight and late night arrival we were pleased to receive a lovely warm welcome. Unfortunately we found our room was a bit cool in temperature (a room on the ground floor, facing an inner courtyard). Thankfully we were moved promptly the next day to an upper floor, street facing room which we were rea...

The Editory House is a lovely hotel, clean modern rooms with friendly staff, its in a great location to get around Porto and near to the river, bars and restaurants. We only had the breakfast one day and although plentiful there could be more choice for hot food. Would that put me off staying again, absolutely not....

Bad experience in this hotel

The room is small, and they dont change the sheets even if they are dirty during the stay. They leave dirty glasses without removing them and empty cans lying around. The bathroom is poorly cleaned, and the shower leaks water into the bathroom....

Stayed for 3 nights with my daughter, booked through Jet2 City breaks on a B&B basis.
We couldnt find anything to fault during our stay. The room and hotel was spotless. Bathroom - walk in shower with shower gel, body lotion, shower cap and soap, towels changed during stay.
Room - walk in wardrobe with plenty of storage, mini fridge and free safe. Table in room with 2 chairs, complimentary water. Plenty of sockets.

Great hotel with superb customer service. Always ready to go the extra mile from room change to great restaurant recommendations and bookings . Excellent central location ( do ask for a quiet room if bothered by noise as some rooms are facing a busy street)...
