Safe, central location close to bus and train terminals, the Baixe district, City Hall, Iglesia Santa Cruz, river walks, Jardim botanical and the university. Breakfast included. Friendly staff. Initial impression outside was off putting but reality was more favourable....

The hotel is in a good location very close to Trinidade Metro (in fact there is an entrance off the square located on the left as you exit the hotel). It is clean however we only asked for room service twice during our five night stay and it wasnt done despite being out between 10am and 5pm - new towels were provided promptly when we complained. We enjoyed our stay here. It's a budget hotel, but overall it was clean, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, beds were comfy and the shower was excellent.
The room also had a/c that we could control, which was great. The hotel also stored our luggage for us, having arrived 4hrs before check in.

Beautiful, clean hotel. Nice staff, sometimes kitchen personal Englisch communication difficult.
Close to centre, would be nice if there would be a city map present with location of the hotel indicated. Also in a room for 2 persons, nice to have 2 chairs instead of one....

A place to avoid

Room was clean - if you want your room cleaned daily you must put hanger on the door or they wont bother.
There was no fridge in the room which was annoying as couldnt keep fruit or any food
Had to keep cases locked as nowhere to put anything away safely.
