Wow. I can see why this hotel is Number 1 in Porto!
The location is convenient to so much: river; train station; Starbucks; and more.
The hotel itself is immaculate and well-furnished: everything looks brand new.
We checked in early, and the most pleasant woman took time to be helpful, outlying points of interest on our map.

A PERFECT LOCATION-AMAZING STAFF

The Pousada Porto has become one of my favorites. The staff is so warm, charming, and helpful. The beds are extremely comfortable. And the thermostat controls give you a perfect room temperature.
The location gives easy accessibility to restaurants, shopping, and points of interest.
I highly recommend a stay here when visiting Porto....

The hotel is in a very great location just a few walking minutes from the river and other attractions. The Hotel is beautifully decorated, very modern and stylish. A very big plus goes to all the staff of the hotel. From the cleaning ladies to the staff at the reception, the bar and the food and beverage department, all were extremely polite and very sympathetic. Also everyones english was super good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful hotel in a wonderful location close to everything.
The room was very well furnished and the bathroom with a very large shower just excellent.
We enjoyed breakfast on 2 mornings with a wide variety of food to choose from.
The staff were all very welcoming throughout the hotel and we would stay again.

Diogo Teles at front desk started our stay off in a great way. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with a map showing restaurants and historic sites. The room was clean and beds comfortable.
