Short break over new year and the PortoBay chain once again did not disappoint. TeaTro was much smaller than previous PortoBay properties visited with fewer amenities, but enjoyed it regardless. Staff as always were 'on point'. ...

The location of the Teatro is perfect just in the heart of the city. River and the market is in equal distance of fifteen mins walking. Cleanness is good, amenities basic and quietness also good. Our room 414 had a serious lag in hot water, we had to wait for ages for the hot one to come out. Some other friends also complained for broken a/c....

Glorious City Break at supercool hotel

We decided to visit Porto for 4 nights to escape the British greyness! The trip was amazing and the PortoBay Teatro a supercool hotel in a great location. Everything was walking distance and the hotel was modern, beautifully styled and very clean. Staff were knowledgeable and very helpful. Would definitely recommend for a stay in this beautiful city....
