The good:
-attentive and helpful staff with great attitudes and a willingness to please guests.
-great views and ideal waterfront location.
-unique vibe and historic public areas.
-new cheese and wine/port room offers a amazing view of the water and a pleasant respite.
-the hotel's facade and lobby is warm and inviting.

High quality stakes and very excellent service. Recommendation about meals and wine were very helpful. Very nice atmosphere and location. My wife and I enjoyed eating in this place .. .....

5 star service in a 5 star place.
This hotel is absolutely beautiful which is located next to the river. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very professional yet friendly team who explained very clearly about our stay and showed us around the hotel. All staff from the Reception, Breakfast, Housekeeping, Restaurant and Nights were extremely helpful and friendly throughout with any requested which we had.

We spent three delightful nights at The Pestano Vintage Hotel, and I can confidently say theres no better choice for a memorable stay. This charming vintage property is brimming with character, making every corner a delight to explore. Book a room with a balcony if you canit's an excellent spot to soak in the atmosphere!

Great hotel, food, hospitality and service. We enjoyed a lovely River view room. Our server Oliveira was very attentive. We spent two full days in Porto and took a bus to Matosinhos to check out the beach, which was only a 39 min bus ride. Great public transportation and plenty to see. Will he back....
