Bad stuff happens but a good staff can make it all ok!

I would give this hotel a 5 star in a normal visit (great welcome, great corner room, fab bathroom). But then they had a catastrophe (broken water pipe on our floor ) and they proved they are a 10 star establishment. They took care of us seamlessly and made sure we felt compensated for our bother. They were kind, professional and efficient.

Beautiful hotel in the center of Porto within walking distance to everything. We recently stayed at the Euorstars Porto Centro hotel and from the moment I walked in I was so glad we chose the hotel. It was in a fantastic location. There were plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Stayed in this amazing hotel for 3 nights. Excellent service from friendly staff. Beautifully decorated large room with modern amenities. Very close to the tiled Sao Bento train station. Walking distance to restaurants and Duoro River. ...

My wife and I enjoyed our visit to Porto and would recommend this stylish hotel, largely for location, cleanliness, breakfast and lovely staff. It is quiet, yet centrally located between the historic area and the river/bridge and a few minutes walk from the main railway station. I stayed here three nights in June. I'm not sure I would pick this hotel again.
Let's start with the positives:
- the location is great! Very central. You're situated sort of in the middle of the hills - to go to the river, you head downhill
