Recently returned home after a six night stay at this hotel. Cannot fault anything, rooms large and housekeeping services extremely good.
The breakfast options are many and varied, a really good start to your day and we found that poached eggs are available on request which we prefer to fried or mass prepared scrambled.
One thing I must comment on is the staff here, all were helpful, smiley and very customer focuse...

Stayed here for a week mid-August with my partner. The overall stay was excellent - check in was smooth, the breakfast buffet was superior, the rooms were spacious and clean, the location was fantastic with transport links close by and the staff were all incredibly friendly. My only gripe is the lack of pool, I do feel this is a disadvantage of the hotel....

This is an unusual review, usually when I arrive at a hotel and am disappointed with the room, I am unable to change the feeling and then put it on the written record in a cold and factual manner,
But this is not the case at this hotel, in fact the excellent service of the hotel staff turns it from an ordinary 5-star hotel into an excellent one.

My wife and I arrived a day earlier than our Gate1 tour.
We were greeted cordially, and the person at the desk, Pedro, was extremely helpful throughout our 4 days there. Some help was not even related to the hotel, but tourist information that was very helpful.

Roms are Bit old fashion. The bath room was modern with a nice shower, bed was very comfortable, we had one evening a dinner in the hotel and on 4 days lunch. It was excellent. Best baccalau I had in Portugal. Also my colleges from Porto were impressed.
Nearest Metro is a 10 min walk. To the beach it is a 50 min walk.
I would recommend the hotel....
