Beautiful hotel by the river. Nice clean rooom with all basic stuff. The breakfast was good. Location was great. You can look the river from the windows and see people walking by.
Room was quiet and beds were nice.

Beauty, romance, and history all rolled into one. We stayed one night here as a side trip from Florence to see the Leaning Tower. The Royal Victoria Hotel was a dream! Our room and bathroom were both huge. We had a balcony overlooking River Arno and that was a breathtaking sight. There was definitely nothing lacking in the breakfast buffet. This hotel is really like staying in a museum, the decor, history, pieces of art and memorabilia are lovely to look at.
The staff were polite and professional, check in process was straightforward.
We had river view rooms which had a lovely view of the river Arno but there was a lot of noise from outside.

More a museum, less of a hotel
The building is laid out and furnished with museum quality arrangements and furnishings. Which is very interesting but lacks the things one would expect in a hotel.
There was no true hot water (tepid would be a better description).
The toilet tank took 5-10 minutes to refill after flushing and was noisy (glub, glub, gloork, glunk). So, one would need to wait 5-10 minutes before the to...

Where to start....positives were the location which is in easy walking distance of old town Pisa and the tower, also that the bed sheets were clean and clean towels were provided with shower gel.
