Charming compact hotel with faded grandeur, in a nice way. Everything was clean, but even our room had that old people smell of mustiness. Absolutely charming lobby, I would know because I slept in it for several hours. Arriving at 10am we were hopeful a room might be available, but completely understood check-in is at 3:00. We returned at 1:00 hoping some progress had been made by housekeeping. Still no room, so we napped in the lobby. While we were napping two guests behind us were given their keys to check-in. Our time at Le Dokhans was outstanding. This was our second stay, and we will certainly be returning. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are warm and helpful, the location is excellent, and breakfast was delicious.
