This was one of the worst experiences I have had at a hotel. There is no elevator, the room was not clean and extremely dark, the internet did not work, and the receptionist does not speak a word of English, and there is a penalty, if you leave your room even a few minutes after 11.00 ( which is checkout time ) of 25 euros. I've just come home from a solo 5 night stay here and I had a brilliant time.
Some of the first Sicilians I met were the hotel staff and they were wonderful. All friendly, warm and so welcoming.
The hotel is in a perfect location for anyone not hiring a car.
It's a beautiful old building with charm and character like most of Palermo.

I stayed 4 nights in this hotel, well they say "you get what you paid for ". Small room , loud A/C, in 4 days no cleaning service or towel change , the room itself not the cleanest ,the bathroom in horrible condition. The breakfast was weak
