What is important for a good experience at a hotel?
Well thats a question Scandic seems to not value or even care about anymore.
What do they care about? -it seems to be greed, so they care about profits and profitability alone.
Will you get your room cleaned? -Not by default, you need to ask for it daily, the day before.
Does this work? Not well, in my experience, unfortunately.

Very bad and unpleasant experience, rude and unprofessional staff. Check in was at 16:00 aclock, instead of 14:00 aclock. Receptionists was very mean and not nice to us. My boyfriend asked promition to use bathroom, they only let him to use it We are shocked!...

I was expecting that the room has a tv with chrome cast just like the scandic Oslo Citu their tv we can cast movies or whatever from the phone.
With the breakfast I was not satisfied because of smal choices of foods there was small portion of bacon above the egg....

Absolutely fantastic: location, food and staff. Made my girlfriend's birthday trip really special. Staff went above and beyond. The perfect place to stay when exploring Oslo. Rooms were clean and comfortable too. View of the city centre and located right next to train station...

I was in Oslo between September 29th and October 4th, 2024. The location of the hotel is excellent. Everything is around you. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful....
