We ( myself, husband and two teenage daughters ) arrived Monday 28 October and was given a suite I wished I had taken pictures, as this was so far from being a suite bit more like a converted office! A pull out sofa bed as the main bed and 3 single beds that folded up to make wardrobes! Broken stained ceiling tiles and one tiny Tv that didnt work. It felt like faulty towers.

After booking a Rhône river cruise that was cancelled due to flooding/high water, we stayed at this hotel at the end of our land tour as required by the tour operator. We are here currently , we arrived this morning about 1030 having left our cruise ship this morning in Monaco . We were not expecting to be able to access our room until mid pm . We arrived from the station ( a short walk away ) on an unusually wet morning , I got to the reception , asked if we could leave our luggage anywhere , which they said we could . Not even close to a four star hotel!

The hotel was a huge disappointment! We booked a deluxe room and it was anything but!!! Very dated and our balcony was a joke. The bathroom was so small and hard to maneuver around. The service at the rooftop bar was less than desired. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and we slept well. I should have done more research since I didnt think the location was convenient. We definitely got in our steps!...

Pleseant stay with well managed lobby crew

My wife and I spent 5 days at the Splendid Nice last week and we had an awesome time.
The hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and well managed, from the door men to the folks at the front desk to the concierge. Major shoutout to the lobby reception crew who took awesome care of us late into the nightwe definitely shut that place down a few times satisfying our post-adventure appetites!
