The staff were friendly and helpful, but the room on the top floor was not the best. The ceiling slopes and is quite shallow above one half of the bed. I was careful enough for most days but on the last morning I whacked my head and it knocked me back onto the bed. If you're staying here, try to avoid a room on the top floor.

For the life of me, I cannot understand how this hotel received so many good ratings. Ill give you that it was clean enough, sort of well-located and the staff was friendlywhen you could find them. Bad experience, room without real window for 175 Euro!

Our room had unfortunately, no real window, just a porthole way up, so no view and could not really open, Completely different than on the pictures. Air con too loud, so very hot. Very unpleasant talk with manager unwilling to find an acceptable solution. Worst stay in France out of two nice weeks. And for this very expensive...

This hotel is in a fantastic location and is the best thing about it.
We had asked for a quiet room on a high floor with a nice view.
The room that we were given was on a high floor with noisy neighbours and a window that was too high up to see out of. The room was dark with not much headspace above the bed. There was a sofa bed in the room also which would obviously be good if you needed 3 people to stay in the ro...

So I read the reviews and was expecting a smallish room. However size is not the problem.
1) I asked for a balcony , our room was actually below street level
2) The rooms are painted in dark colours - including the ceiling and floors
3) Breakfast is even further below stairs , also painted In Dark colours and not big enough to accommodate everyone. Breakfast is limited. You have to boil a kettle for Tea and they ...
