Our 3rd time staying here. We love the location; proximity to Grand Central Terminal and within walking distance of Madison, Fifth etc but far enough away to avoid the noise and madness of the Times Square area. Highlights for us are cleanliness, spaciousness, comfort of the beds and the great location as mentioned. The hotel is traditional. It is quiet and relaxing. This was the second time weve stayed here, the first time it was still just the Kitano. Our stay in August had some good and some not so good. The good: love this location. the staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and very quiet. The breakfast buffet is interesting with both western and Japanese items. An excellent choice combining Tokyos style with NY vibe; at Kitano everything is perfect; spacious rooms, courtesy of personnel, location. Cannot think of a better choice to stay in NY; indeed high quality services and an ideal value for money....

This was my first time staying at the Prince Kitano, and I booked it with girlfriends for a couple of days prior to taking a five-day cruise from NYC. As others have noted, the rooms are quite spacious for NYC, and the bathroom large and comfortable with heated towel racks and a bidet toilet seat. What I liked the most about the hotel was most definitely the service. I think Tamt or Tamta was her name at the reception. Great job and all the love from New Jersey. Definitely recommend especially if you are just there for a casual visit in New York. Great place and as I alteady said perfect service....
