This is the fourth time we've stayed at The Pearl Hotel. While the location is ideal for Broadway theater and the Times Square experience, the quality and value of the hotel has significantly declined since our previous stays. My wife and I do an annual "tourist" weekend to NYC each year to eat great pizza and see shows. We've stayed at several hotels over the years, and stayed at the Pearl this past weekend. The stay was so great that I had to write a review. Three reasons. Right in the middle of the theatre district.

I do not like Times Square - way too many people and too loud - however I love live theatre, ergo when I went to New York specifically for theatre I stayed here. It is right in the middle of the theatre district so very convenient. It is clean, friendly staff. I could hear the street a little, but not a big deal as I assume youre a could anywhere you stay here. If you want this location then choose it....

Quiet for a busy neighborhood
Nice touch to offer excellent wine
Id only suggest that each side of the bed have a reading lamp ( night table lamp is very dim and hard to use for reading) and bedside table.
Also would be nice if pastries at breakfast were kept warm.
Ill definitely stay here again...
