Firstly, apologies for this very late review, I hope it will still be of benefit to travellers wishing to book this hotel in the near future.
I stayed at the San Carlos Hotel (rated 4 Star) located at 150 East 50th Street NYC with my wife and adult daughter from 16 to 20 June 2024, the first leg of our 2 centre holiday in the USA and our first visit to New York since 2002.

We had a one bedroom suite. Very clean and safe, bit dated. Great value for money and the staff were brilliant especially the cleaning staff. Good location, used the airport transfer which was also brilliant. Nice diner and steak house opposite. Very good stay, I would recommend....

We very much enjoyed our two day stay. It is very well located, within walking distance of several sites and shopping, as well as numerous very good restaurants. The room was large and clean, and the coffee maker, fridge, and microwave were very convenient....

This lovely little hotel in Midtown Manhattan is the perfect place to stay, location is just a few blocks (easy walking distance) from Grand Central Station, Rockerfella Center, Times Sq, Central Park and many more. There are subway stations nearby and bus stops.
The hotel is immaculately clean and quiet & the staff are friendly and couldnt be more helpful. Our room, an Elite King Suite was spacious & perfect for us...

Well located hotel subway routes nearby. All staff were helpful, efficient and friendly. Spotlessly clean. Our room was very quiet. Nothing to fault, would happily stay there again. Amenities in our room were very good with a fridge and microwave with some crockery....
