NYC Dump

The hotel is a dump. The manager, Patrick Flannery, could care less. Many buttons on the elevators dont work making it hard to get to some floors, including the lobby! Staff continually bring the issues up in meetings and no action is taken.
Unless your only other option is sleeping on the street, stay away from this dump!...

Facility is very very old. Funny smells in room. All furnishings very dated and deteriorating.
Breakfast offering very underwhelming. Food not at safe temperatures for eating. Quality poor.
Bar is phenomenally expensive. $75 for one cocktail and two soft drinks.
Plus points are the location. And the credit-card operated laundry room is nice for a longer stay....

Great location and we were very happy with our room. We received a great welcome from Alphonso at check-in. Room was clean and had everything we needed.
Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to a family bereavement. Special shout out to Michael who was so helpful.
We hope to return in the future. ...

Stayed 3 nights. Front desk staff amazing. Answered every question with a smile (Im sure they get asked the same questions all day long). Our room was on the 9th floor with a semi view of
Bryant park. This hotel is so close to pretty much everything with subway basically out the front door. We only took the subway twice as we pretty much walked everywhere. The breakfast buffet had a nice offering. The bathroom ...

This was a great hotel and I would stay there again on a future trip to NYC.
The front desk staff were friendly, helpful, and humorous.
Room: Our room #2110 was great overall, we had a comfortable Queen bed and a sofa bed. Our room had a great view of the Empire State Building. It had a well equipped kitchen with full size fridge, sink, microwave, a breakfast counter, and lots of cupboards with all kinds of utens...
