Such an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were all super friendly (loved the complimentary wine upon arrival). We had a direct view of the Empire State Building which was incredible. The bed was also the coziest bed Ive ever experienced at any hotel. Would definitely return as well as recommend it to friends and family!...

The Refinery Hotel is a hidden gem in the middle of Manhattan. It all begins with the friendly and courteous staff. Always going out of their way to make you feel welcomed and ensure your stay is the best it can be. The vibe of the hotel is also very cool. The rooms are large by NYC standards. Stayed here for a night with my girlfriends and it was such a great experience. Staff were so accommodating to our requests and we had a chance to eat at the rooftop. Food was delicious and service top notch. The room was big and the beds were really comfy. The room was quiet too. Loved having a noon check out too!...

I was not sure about the Hotel to begin with. It seemed very dark, a bit too quirky for my taste, with a weird picture on my bedroom wall. Was it trying to be too clever, too different, providing an experience rather a comfortable setting? However, the Hotel really "grew" on me and I was really enjoying my stay there by the time I left.
