Rude reception staff, broken heating in the room. Window in room doesn't close properly.
Security deposit taken at check-in. $100 per night per room. Unable to check-in unless you pay. Massive impact on our trip as not able to access those funds. Then told it could take 3 weeks to return the money!!!
No tea or coffee facilities in the room.
Bar in hotel was closed on Sundays and Mondays

Incredible location, truly wonderful, 2 blocks from Central Park & a short walk to Times Square.
The lobby is beautiful, the carpets in the hallways seem new & clean. However our room wasn't up to the same standard.
The beds were comfortable and clean, but the room as a whole certainly needed modernising, there was chips & cracks around the skirting boards, carpet looked old & quite dirty & the bottom of the bath...

This hotel is worth 5 stars for the location alone! A five minute walk to Central Park and 10 minutes to Times Square, this hotel is central enough to get to most of the sights on foot without being in the middle of the craziness of Times Square.
We had an accessible room as it was the only one available at the time of booking and it was enormous which was great for a 6 night stay!

My favorite thing about Park Central is the location. Close to the Theater District, Central Park, and tons of restaurants! We took advantage of the discount offered (by showing our Park Central key card) at Serafina on 55th. Delicious meal and great service! We enjoyed drinks at the hotel bar (Twenty-Sevens) and chatting with our server, Nancy. The specialty drinks are kind of pricey, but delicious!...

I recently stayed at Park Central Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from Broadway, Times Square and Central Park(making it perfect for enjoying breakfast on a sunny day).
