This hotel was in a very good location in lower manhattan. The bar area was really good, and the bartenders were attentive. The room was a little small, but good use was made of the space. My only complaint was the shower water. The water didnt really get hot, and that was kind of annoying. In addition, the tv kept saying welcome Lauren, and my name is not Lauren. Friendly Staff and Clean Atmosphere

Our stay at the Moxy Downtown was great -- the hotel lobby smelled nice and offered luggage storage upon request. The food at the lounge was excellent, I ordered the Wagyu Chopped Cheese. Specifically, our server Majed and our bartender Luis were very kind and attentive as we waited for our room to be ready!
Would recommend for folks who plan on exploring downtown NYC....

No Water, Promise Unkept

There was no water in my room on the morning of my departure, December 16, 2024. the F/O Manager promised to add 50,000 points to my Bonvoy account or a full refund for my last night's stay for this inconvenience. Two follow-up emails have gone unanswered, and the points have not been added....

Do not recommend
Travelled on 12/2024
Boiler was broken first day. Water was freezing cold. Second way the water was cool after the boiler was fixed. I complained to the hotel directly and the concern was noted, but no apology. Was also not allowed to use free drink tokens - either the bar was too busy with a party or the server didnt want to take the charge off the bill.
Marriott Lifetime Gold so have stayed in a number of hotels in my time....

Great hotel! Room was very clean, staff was amazing and the whole experience from check-in to check-out was like disney! We will definitely recommend to our friends and family and we cannot wait to come back soon!! Location is also perfect for everything...
