A wonderful gem! My daughters and I went to NYC to see several Broadway shows and enjoy fall in NYC. Hotel Beacon did not disappoint (it also set completely unrealistic expectations for my girls who want to move to NYC now). The location is perfect- a 40 minute Uber/Lyft from LGA. The Beacon Hotel is our NYC Home away from Home. Very comfortable beds, quiet rooms and a kitchenette where we could prepare breakfast and snacks and save dollars.
Very friendly and professional atmosphere and staff- 24 hour desk. Also a laundrette in house which was so convenient.

Another excellent stay at the Hotel Beacon. This is my go to hotel in NYC. On the Upper west side, its the perfect location. Easy to get everywhere but not too hectic. The staff treat you like family. There is a warmth in their approach. The rooms are a good size for NYC, modern, but with a respect to their history and past. I have had the pleasure of staying at the Beacon many times in my life. I am a person who is rarely comfortable sleeping in a hotel bed. At the Beacon, the beds are so comfortable, and also made for your sleeping comfort. Many hotels make the beds look pretty but the minute you pull on the sheet, the whole thing falls apart.
