If you check in at night or come back to your room at night expect to see that all of the benches directly outside the hotel's front door are occupied by the homeless who are allowed by the hotel to sleep there. There were garbage bags of their belongings everywhere. Additionally there were 10-5 transients sitting on the benches smoking pot and high as a kite. This hotel is located 10 minutes from everything! It's a 10-minute walk to Times Square, Broadway theaters, subways, and many restaurants within seconds of exiting the hotel. Like many hotels in NY, rooms are small, but beds, showers, and amenities like Dove are fantastic. Rooms feel safe, clean, and have a mini-fridge. Completely honest review from our experience, upon arriving we were treated by between 6 to 7 home less people in the benchs outside, and a over whelming smell of pot/weed, there were 4 crates of dirty washing outside waiting to be picked up, this was a daily site, reception we got checked in quick, reception is the most unwelcoming entrance I have ever had at an hotel, only one lift work for 4 out the 5 days we...

Not enough elevators.

Great location. Room decent size. Only 2 elevators and one broken the last two days we were there. We were on the 21st floor. Yesterday morning we waited 25 minutes and this morning it was 45 minutes. Supposedly someone was working to fix the problem....

Dusty bed Area

This particular room was extremely dusty but the bed was comfortable apparently the room keeper did not keep up a good job on dusting the place because by the right side of that bed should not have been that dusty when you turn on that light that bends and twists and turns it cannot be seen all the dust particles flying in the air you have to dust a room you can't just clean the room you have to dust the room vacuum ...
