Honestly run a mile if you can.one of the worst places I have seen having travelled well across the world, staff at front desk were extremely rude and unhelpful, upon arriving a lady who had just checked in had returned to reception to advise them that when she had entered her room there was already people in it!! We booked and paid through a travel agent. We travelled trans Atlantic for 7 hours. We arrived at the hotel to learn flatly from Maria at the front desk that the hotel had cancelled our booking. We were never informed. Our travel agent was never informed. We received no refund or notification. Admittedly we booked through a third party but that is not the issue. All things considered, it was fine. My family and I stayed here for three nights in August. Service from staff was very pleasant and attentiveness. The area around the hotel is a little rundown, but the access to the subway station was fantastic. My family was a little surprised to discover that half of the hotel was a homeless shelter. This hotel served as an excellent base for our quick trip to NYC. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and serviceable, prices were reasonable for a double room, and we always felt safe. Good place to stay with easy access to subway

3 of us doing a 4 day city touristy thing. Hotel is fine. We were in it only for sleeping. Staff very friendly and helpful. Although lower east side very convenient subway one block away. We went on the ferry a few times easy walking and then connected to other tourist hit spots from there
