Our room (1 king) was clean and comfortable and also bigger than I anticipated it to be, considering other reviews stated they were very small. The size was perfect for 1 adult and 1 teen staying 2 nights in NYC. However, street noise was an issue. Luckily, the air vent in our bathroom was loud enough to drown out the noise and provide white noise needed for sleeping, so we kept the door open at night.

There are not enough elevators. The warm food at breakfast was inedible. The coffee at breakfast was undrinkable. The breakfast room was so small that there were frequently no seats. The hotel charges a $20 per day "destination fee" for no amenities. No invoice was provided when we checked out, so I only discovered this when we received our invoice by email days later. Our family stayed at this hotel 11.09.24 - 17.09.24. Nice rooms, simple breakfast, terrible old elevator that will get stuck multiple times. Besides that, there is one major thing that has changed our opinion about this hotel after our stay.

Wow.. three days on a holiday weekend with one of the two elevators out of service, and no apologies or concessions. When I say 60 people waiting for one, 8-person, very slow, elevator every time was insane.. I'm being generous.
Rooms were small, not super clean - smudges on the pillows, random hairs in the bathrooms - the wall had three! The wall! This for almost $500 a night! One coffee pod per room and cups not ...

No sleep

Day 3 of no sleep because of nightclub bass music blasting from somewhere outside. It starts at midnight. The room is shaking with aggressive techno bass. We planned this trip for months and have had no sleep to enjoy what New York has to offer. Exhausted from being kept up all night....
