A very comfortable hotel right in the middle of the old town. So it was easy to get everywhere on foot. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Staff are very friendly. Certainly recommend it...

Napoli is a gritty city. Decumani Hotel de Charme is a lovely and peaceful hotel in the midst of the excitement. Well situated for walking tours of the central city.
The reception staff were very helpful and responsive. They were also great with recommending local eateries and they set up a taxi for our departure to the airport.

The Hotel is in the historic district, close to several wonderful non-touristy restaurants and sites. We walked to the Archeological Museum as well as the Port. The area is very safe and mostly residential. The hotel offered prompt, reliable, reasonable cab service which was a plus. The manager even told our cab in Italian where to take us for shopping. Tricky to rate. Gritty old university neighborhood with narrow streets and excellent graffiti. Wonderful old common rooms on 3rd floor including a small SE facing patio. But not open until 10 am.

I had arranged a pick up at the airport upon arrival in Naples. The hotel didnt follow through and we had to call asking why our ride was not there. They finally sent someone, but after traveling for many hours I was disappointed in lack of professionalism from a recommended Hotel from Rick Steves book.
