The rooms at Cocoon are a decent size and clean. The breakfast the hotel serves offers a wide variety of food and it was all really good, but you do have to pay extra for it. Overall, the hotel itself was great. The walk to the old town was easy, but the streets around the hotel seemed a little sketchy. This is an area with a lot of other hotels, but I wouldnt feel comfortable walking back to the hotel by myself. We...

Stayed in this simply Amazing hotel with friends in May 23, following a Rad-Reisen cycling holiday along the Danube. This was our last hotel stay before returning to the UK and what a treat it was. This hotel is well located, clean and friendly. The staff were attentive and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. The hotel is well located - close to the main train station in Munich as well as the location where most of the tour buses began their tours....

unprofessional and ordinary service
untrained and never smiling front office staff, except 1 lady.
technically not clues .
i had paid and their system shows not paid. i had to pay again.
a while later they apologized.
they did not return the money as of now.
though they said it was their mistake
all this after one lady at the reception said our payment was done. and gave is breakfast coupons

Quirky and fun

This is one of the quirkiest hotels I have ever stayed in and I loved every minute of it. The German Alps/Cow theme is so much fun.
The hotel is perfectly located, near the main train station and only ten minutes' walk to the beautiful Old Town. I was warmly welcomed by reception and staff were more than happy to take my picture in the lobby.
