Hotel is lovely. Great location. Art deco on style. Loved the restaurant East. Fun menu with interesting offerings. Bartender Sean was extremely friendly and outgoing. Made our bar visit memorable.
We encountered two issue while there. Can back after a day out to find our door ajar. It wasnt pulled shut. Luckily all of our things were still inside. Reported to front desk. They were going to report it to Housekee...

This hotel is a LOCATION WIN:
1 block from the shopping / fashion street (St Catharine street) loaded with shops, department stores like SIMONS, HUDSON BAY, as well as an actual shopping mall, restaurants, everything.
Taxi stand located across the street for easy access to a taxi.
Staff were polite and tried in every way to create a high service culture.
The hotel has MODERN VIBES and funky decor in the lobby.

Honestly I was looking forward to staying here but highly disappointed. We stayed one night. We checked in late. Ali was at the desk and was very slow and unfriendly. When we finally got to our room someone had been in there already! There was an open empty water bottle on the desk as well as a seat imprint on the bed (see pictures). We chose this location for a short 2 night stay planning to do city tours in Montreal and Ottawa. It worked though there were challenges. Montreal we learned has a nickname, "the city of cones" i.e. construction cones. The hotel offered valet parking which is a must. The stay is ok, but I wouldnt stay here again. If youre like me and prefer to return to a clean room, youll be out of luck here because housekeeping is inconsistent. Our sink drains slow, so it looks pretty gross after each use. I mentioned this to the front desk, and no one came to see about it....
