We chose this hotel for its location near Montreal old city and Chinatown plus the room suites - and were generally pleased with what we found. The hotel was very well equipped with garage parking, gym area, business area, sundries shop, small appliance rentals, and guest laundry. Very Good Hotel, especially the suite with the balcony!
The desk staff was very nice and friendly.
The hotel was less than 3 blocks from the Metro, which was very helpful.
They did have parking, but it was a expensive(almost $30 a day)
As a solo traveler, I felt very safe there, ask the front door, and elevators to the rooms, were controlled for safety. There were restaurants nearby, including those in China Town(al...

Value for money and great neighborhood

Convenient location and great value for money. Rooms were big and clean enough. Although we were four people in the room, they only provide for 3 sets of toiletries/towels. But it was ok, nonetheless. The pull out beds were not super comfortable, but it was acceptable and we expected this since again it was just a pull out bed....

Visiting Montreal for the first time.

The hotel was a good location for us being on foot. Easy to find the closest metro. Having the extra bed space on the sofa was helpful as well as having the kitchen set up. A delightful stay and I would recommend Hotel Saint-Laurent to anyone wanting to stay and have a little home away from home was definitely a bonus....

Excellent location within easy walking distance to Montréal Old Town. Staff was helpful and friendly, and the room was comfortable. Parking is tight but secure. Only complaint was the property is a bit tired. Plus, it's a heavily used hotel, so a lot of people coming and going. Lobby was quite noisy at check in.
