Hotel near Milano central station

This hotel is conveniently situated near Milano central train station. It has a 24 hour reception.
I booked a Single room in the official website of the hotel at a premium rate. On arrival I was given a connecting room, fairly small with a small bathroom, both looking average and tired.
The heating system is working well and the pressure for the shower is adequate.

Close to Milan train station, its basically across the carpark from the main entrance. Comfy beds. Decent shower and bathroom. Breakfast included and the coffee was good. A bit of a hike to some of the main tourist attractions but close to an Aldi and the Mercato centrale at the station. Would stay here again....

We booked this hotel for its proximity to the train station. That turned out to be its main - and only - advantage. Service upon arrival was indifferent, room was small albeit comfortable enough for one night, shower tiles need fixing, and breakfast was disappointing (crumbs on our table and a dirty, empty bread dish). Not worth the expense. Do not recommend it....

Worst 4 star hotel in Italy - STAY AWAY

Positives - coffee at breakfast
Negatives - everything else
Room : dark damp & decrepit with wall paper bulging off the wall. No coffee in the room & 1 tea bag , no milk for 2 adults. We asked for tea & coffee , no tea and the coffee has to be ordered from room service
View : expected the wonderful Milano station but overlooked a huge building site
Staff - the reception staff are at best surly at worst rude ,...
