Beautiful, central hotel

Lovely hotel with friendly staff situated in the duomo area. The staff could talk in English and were very welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious and modern. Good air conditioning which is a plus during summer. The bathroom was impeccably clean and modern, with shower and bidet and lots of different toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and ample. I wish I could have stayed longer....

Terrible.

The housekeeper threw out some new clothes we bought. New clothes, still in a bag, in a neatly left room. We were called liars and told to call the police before they went to check the garbage and oh, there they were. Dont stay here....

Very disappointed

We are regular clients of this hotel and this time we have been really disappointed by our stay for the following reasons:
Upon arrival in our Deluxe room, we found waste on our terrasse probably from previous clients
No toilet paper enough, not replaced during the second day.
No place for breakfast the second day, and no proposed solutions or excuses from the staff present

We stayed at Ariston for 3 nights. The staff were very helpful. The room was small - basic but not too small and the shower was lovely and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast choice was adequate, with welcome scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit juice and very good coffee. There was more choice for anyone in search of a continental breakfast. ...

They are trying. The common areas looks newly upgrade and is nice. The elevators (2) serve all 8 floors and are very small, fitting 1 person with a bag or two, standing really close with average waiting time of 7min13sec to get one. The good:
-easy 10min walk to the Duoma
-common areas look nice
-well located
The not-so-good:
-VERY small rooms
-elevators as mentioned earlier
-extremely noisy. The doors are not sound...
