Hotel Marsiho is in a loud, dirty and sketchy part of town. The lobby is the size of a closet with nowhere to sit. Our room overlooked a back alley and the balconies on the building opposite were a sight to behold (see pic). Since the air conditioning was broken for our entire stay, we had to sleep with the windows open only to be eaten alive by mosquitoes and repeatedly woken by droning scooters and drunken loud mou...

Perfect stay at the Marsiho Hotel ! Very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms was comfortable and spacious. I really enjoyed the breakfast buffet!
The location is very central near the Port. We will be back for our next stay in Marseille! Many thanks....

We stayed here for one night only and felt it served its purpose well. We wanted to get a taste of the Old Port area and that mission was accomplished as we loved the area and gorged on the local sea food. People told us that Marseille was a bit rough but I felt safe , well as safe as you might feel in Manchester anyway.

Well located for Station and City Centre. Do not be put off by rather scruffy area around, in my experience much of Marseille is like that ! Albeit it is still a very interest vibrant city well worth a visit, but think Naples rather than Lyons. However has good security on desk which was always staffed and card entry to building.It was very comfortable and clean inside. Lots of nice little touches the best was access...

The location was great on a busy street not far from the Old Port. The area was packed with cheap kebab stalls, but other restaurants were not far away. A shopping mall was located directly on the opposite side of the street. The closest small supermarket was also only a few minutes away by foot.
My room didn't face the main street and there was almost no traffic noise. Overall the room was peaceful and I slept well...
