Lots of disruptive sleep

I had to move because of the smell of smoke in my room, (728) and they offered to move me the second time when i found 2 cockroaches in my bathroom. Not a great experience. When they moved me the first time, I think it was in a room with staff next door, it was very noisy. (Room 723) lots of disruptive sleep....

The good stuff: modern, clean, onsite restaurants, good buffet breakfast, a/c room with a view (all the usual facilities eg minibar), walking distance from Atocha station (from which you can bus or metro to international airport), lift, friendly staff, 12 o'clock checkout (you may be able to negotiate a later time). Nearby restaurants, small convenience and large supermarket close by.

Stayed here Oct 2024. It was during the Fruit Sellers Convention, so the hotel was very busy. The first room I was given was on the top floor, and smelt very slightly of a....toilet smell.. I didn't like the room. I went back to reception and changed it (I had to insist) and was given a different one. This was fragrance-free, but unfortunately no water (either complimentary or in the minibar). I bought 2l ...

Good breakfast and restaurant. Nothing complimentary. Not very clean. Too crowded so rooms were not ready at arrival. Good service from employees. Location is not so good its not near stores or restaurants but the Peruvian restaurant in front was good enough....

Efficient hotel with great staff

Friendly and professional staff, all basic amenities, GREAT location and good price.
Nothing to complain.
Its 5 minutes walking distance away from the Madrid Atocha train station where the high speed trains go from, and its also walking distance away from the big Park and Gran Via.
It makes the whole trip very efficient.
