Had an amazing experience at Marmo Bar Tapas and Cocktail in Madrid! Paola provided exceptional service, and the coffee was the best I've had in ages. Highly recommend this place for great drinks and friendly service! I will definitely be back....

Bland Hotel & 5 Star in Name Only

I have read a number of reviews before I arrived at the hotel advising that the hotel is not 5 star, bland and kind of a weird place to stay. I can confirm all these after staying here.
I was after reading some reviews not enthusiastic staying here. I was coming over with my wife and Filipino friends for a concert but thankfully it was my wife who paid otherwise I would have been quite unhappy with myself.

Unusual but very bland hotel

Stayed for a couple of nights for a work conference at Hotel Puerta America in Madrid.
It is a 5 star hotel but looks quite bland. The staff at the entrance and at reception was very attentive and courteous and spoke good English.
As we had most of the hotel booked, the check in was already arranged for everyone and we were handed our room keys within a couple of minutes.

Enjoyed it Good location with plenty of local cafes bars and restaurants within a short walk Metro two mins walk away and easy to and from the airport on direct bus 200 for 1.50 Even cheaper with a travel card Im not sure its a 5* - maybe a quirky 4* but our Japanese themed rooms and floor were comfy and the blackout blinds and double shower amazing Really good breakfast and 12noon check out all wel...

Stayed here for three nights in May 2024.
Great spot, in a more residential location surrounded with restaurants and cafes a short walk away!
Hotel was great. Staff were so nice and welcoming. Room was clean and quiet!
Weather was a little chilly so we didnt check out the pool but the space looks like a fun spot to spend a few hours in the afternoon!
