Madrid is beautiful & clean but Gran Via takes it to another whole new level..! Firstly the buildings and architecture are stunning! You'll want to take pictures of every building ( I hope your phones can handle all that picture taking..) because every building is unique and beautiful! They are very well maintained, spacious walkways with many people/ tourists and nice sounvenir shops. Many shops and restaurants too...

I stayed here during my visit to Madrid, and it is simply the best location as there are lots of things nearby. There are a couple of metro stations and many food outlets. The street is very busy so can feel really crowded....

Have a drink on the roof top terrace at the Santo Domingo Hotel(7th floor). Ace views of Madrid....
