Stayed 5 nights at this lovely property. The location is excellent as a 2 min walk from Plaza de Espana which made easy access to and from the airport or train stations.
Alvera and Jose which worked the front desk were outstanding and deserve recognition. I was made to feel special. Alvera made sure I had a suitable room as the first room I was assigned had an issue with the A/C.

The Espahotel near plaza de Espana on the Central Road of Gran Via offers a great location to discover Madrid. The rooms are big and good and ours had a kitchen. A taxi to the airport is easily arranged. The Gran Via is quite crowed but at night the hotel rooms are quiet. The prices are pretty valuable......

Praise only for this hotel - located on the busy Gran Vía, but quiet, due to good windows, recently changed. The view of the Royal Palace from our room, 710, was beautiful. Super clean, the ladies work so hard at cleaning the room every single day! Breakfast was varied enough, no complaints at all there. You get delicious omelette, ham and sausages + cheese and salami, etc., amazing fresh pastries, juices, yoghurt, c...

Great location yet not noisy.

Right on Gran Via close to Plaza de España yet we were not disturbed by noise at all. The hotel is comfortable, friendly and functional. The rooms and fixtures are a little dated but price is good. Buffet breakfast is reasonably priced and perfectly adequate....

Hotel cancelled valid reservation

Hotel had a very good offer via booking.com but probably someone realised it was too cheap, so rather than honor the reservation they made up a story that 2 given cards did not work. (all via booking msg not responding to direct email). Very poorly handled even if someone made a pricing mistake, its not customer's fault. ...
