We stayed in a short trip to Madrid. The hotel has public transportation right outside the door with bus and trains, we opted for taxis and they were reasonable for a family of 3. The hotel is clean and well kept. Beds were comfortable as was the amazing hot water. I deducted a star because the AC system was replaced by heating and the room got unbearably warm for me but luckily the windows can be opened to let t...

Hotel Catalonia Del Retiro is a great place to stay while you visit Madrid. The front desk was phenomenal and we met people like Alvaro and Sarah who made our stay enjoyable and comfortable in every way, they gave us the extensions for the charging of all our devices and they also gave us lots of information about subway, subway station was like a two minute walk and eating area and a supermarket was maybe five minu...

Amazing service and great comfort. Highly recommended. We arrived late and jet lagged The checking in was easy and welcoming. We had originally a airbnb and we could not get in that place as the electronic door was malfunctioning. We found the Catalonia late and it was perfect. Gracias por todo....
