We stayed in Lisbon and Porto on our trip recently and in 3 hotels (4 nights in Lisbon to start, 4 in Porto following, and the last night in Lisbon awaiting our flight the next morning. Had I to do it over again I would have stayed at the Pousada Lisboa all nights in Lisbon. We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed here both at the beginning of our trip to portugal and at the end. The location is wonderful- within walking distance of many sights and close to public transportation. The hotel is beautiful. It is a former monastery. The public areas are very nice. We adored this beautiful hotel in this amazing, historic building. Our Deluxe room was really a corner suite with a separate living room and 3 windows. The staff is as stellar as the hotel is. Breakfast is ample and amazing. Highest possible recommendation....
