Lovely Hotel in a nice area of Lisbon

Comfy and large room, attentive staff, located just one block from the Liberty Avenue. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with arts decorations and British style afternoon tea, included in you booking. Will definitely stay again when we return to Lisboa...

3 night stay over new year . Lovely welcome , very friendly staff. Everyone was always really smiley and welcoming. Huge bedroom (we only booked a standard room). and good sized bathroom.,
Really good shower,
Room overlooking the main street but not noisy.
Really lovely touches in the room like a few chosen novels to read in English , a charging mat by the bed and an adaptor cube for English plugs.

Why do we come to this hotel year after year? Because it is unchanging, unpretentious, comfortable, ideally located, very well managed and maintains high standards. It is quietly civilized, the staff are wonderful, and we (a well-travelled retired male couple) would not think of staying elsewhere in this exceptional city. Viva o Hotel Britania!...

Fantastic Hotel

Absolutely fabulous hotel just off the main shopping street. Quiet and safe. We stopped in a Junior Suite which was very comfortable. Nice bar, great breakfast but really it was the staff who made our holiday so memorable. They not only got the big details right but the small ones as well. We can't think that we have stopped at a better hotel - would highly recommend....

Our long-awaited vacation in Portugal was ruined by our stay at the Britania Art Deco Hotel in Lisbon. To cut a long story short, we packed our bags in preparation for checking out, left our back packs with Passports, money and credit cards, etc., in our room while we went down for breakfast (silly us). Fast forward to later in the day, we discovered the equivalent of almost US$2,000 and a single credit card missing ...
